Crunch Time

Language Translation and Automata
Begets the use of Encyclopedia Britannica
Because Lexical Analysis can be hard
If it’s actual inner-workings you must regard

Then it’s good ol’ Physics
Gotta study the fundamental concepts it constantly revisits
Gauss’ Law and anything prior
Solving Electricity and Magnetism problems, can’t get me any higher

Calculus of Several Variables is next
Concepts that leave others perplexed
But I love its 3-Space aspects
Its non-purist uses* are it’s only defects

Finally, Computer Architecture
None of its aspects are left to conjecture
IEEE 745 and the like deal with real physical bitwise manipulation
But, its association with MIPS leaves much room for altercation

A hell of a week when all these midterms pile up
Still, all of then I did rock

I’m on the professor side of midterms– the grading and seeing if you have taught to make a difference. Fun poem.
