La-La-Ladybug?

Red body
black dots
small wings
crawly feet

I’ve seen you fly and frolic
your life away
roaming around the grass which I step upon.

To my surprise, I found you
somewhere new
on my walk through WU.
Abby picked you up
and out of my hair,
with a smile
I looked to you;
until I understood.

In my palm
We walked to class
my legs moving to carry us both there
and you, silent and unmoving.
That was when I knew,
you were too good to be true.
